A practical introduction to starting and growing a successful new business

- Who: Aimed at budding and new entrepreneurs planning to start and grow ambitious businesses - particularly knowledge-based, creative or technology ventures
Organised by the Innovation Centre and the Alumni Relations office, Start it Up! 08 is a one-day event designed to provide practical information and tips on starting a successful new venture.
This participative, entertaining and interactive seminar will give you an opportunity to learn from and meet people who can help you to recognise business opportunities, find sources of finance and begin to plan and start your own business venture.
The seminar includes presentations from enterprising professionals, some of whom are USC alumni, who have made their dreams of starting and growing a business a reality.
The event will be held in the Innovation Centre on the University of the Sunshine Coast campus at Sippy Downs.
The cost is A$45 (inc. GST) and this includes lunch, refreshments and course notes. A special reduced rate of A$30 (inc. GST) is available for current USC students. Payable by cheque or cash.
