Foundation Board members

The University Foundation has been established to assist the University in its growth and development. The University Foundation also provides valuable networking opportunities for alumni, community members, and friends of the University.

Established in 1998, the key activities of the University Foundation are:

  • assisting alumni and friends to maintain contact with each other and the University
  • building strong relationships with the community
  • inviting support to priority projects
  • reporting the progress of this support and how it aids the University's development

Vice-Chancellor Professor Paul Thomas AM, and Foundation Chair, Mr Tim Fairfax AM, work with a group of dedicated volunteers to build long-term relationships with the community. These relationships are extremely important to our rapidly growing University.

A high priority for the Foundation is a A$5 million fundraising campaign called Building Excellence, focusing on health and sport, student scholarships and campus enhancement.

If you would like more information or wish to become involved with our activities, giving programs or volunteer opportunities, please contact the University Foundation.
