Building Excellence Campaign

The University is currently conducting the Building Excellence Campaign of which the three priorities are:

Health and sport centre

Sitting adjacent to the new indoor sport stadium, the establishment of a Health and Sport Centre will provide state-of-the-art laboratory facilities for students, and will facilitate cutting-edge research and synergies between scientists, practitioners and community members in the area of health and sport.

Scholarships and bursaries

By growing our scholarship and bursary offerings, we will encourage young leaders to study on the Sunshine Coast, and allow disadvantaged but deserving students across all disciplines to pursue their dreams of a university degree.

Campus enhancement

In our unique climate, much of students’ learning takes place outside the classroom. Campus enhancements will create an environment that is functional and stimulating, and serve as a model of eco-friendly design.

Additional support

In addition, the University is also looking for support in the following areas:

Library resources

The University's Library is used by students, alumni, staff and the public. Its collection is constantly growing in response to student growth and changing developments with scholarly communication. In particular, the Library is looking to expand its collection of electronic scientific information and establish a herbarium.

Gallery program and collection

The University Art Gallery attracts thousands of visitors each year, and funds are needed to cover the costs of curatorial work. The University's collection of contemporary Australian art is displayed throughout the campus, and funds are required to enhance and maintain this collection.

University initiatives

Under this important funding program, the University acts on behalf of the donor, channelling their support to areas of greatest need. This fund gives the University the flexibility to support both existing and emerging priorities.
