The University of the Sunshine Coast has established the Innovation Centre Sunshine Coast Pty Ltd. as a subsidiary company - supported by all three levels of government and by the business community - with the aim of creating jobs in knowledge based businesses in the Knowledge Precinct developing around the University at Sippy Downs.

As a first step in achieving this mission, the Innovation Centre operates a technology business incubator supporting the start-up and growth of innovative businesses.
