USC to unveil wall exhibit to thank donors
The University of the Sunshine Coast will tomorrow unveil a new wall exhibit to recognise the contributions of its most generous donors.
The exhibit at the entrance to USC’s new Chancellery building will honour those who have strongly supported the University, including those who have contributed to USC’s current Building Excellence Campaign.
This campaign, which began in 2006 and will finish in December, aims to raise $5 million to support construction of the University’s new Health and Sport Centre, student scholarships and campus enhancements.
So far, almost $4 million in donations have been made to the campaign.
USC’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Paul Thomas AM will unveil the wall exhibit at 5.15pm tomorrow (Thursday 8 May).
“The Sunshine Coast has a brighter future thanks to the community leaders who are quietly but substantially supporting this campaign,” Professor Thomas said.
