Official academic record
Past and present University of the Sunshine Coast students are able to request an Official Statement of Academic Record by completing a Request for Official Academic Record (PDF 51KB) form.
What is an Official Statement of Academic Record?
An Official Statement of Academic Record is a certified statement detailing your academic record at the University of the Sunshine Coast. It shows your results for each course in which you were enrolled and also lists University prizes and graduation details where applicable. You will need an Official Statement of Academic Record if applying for credit at another university, or for scholarship purposes and job applications.
Is there a cost?
A charge of A$10 applies for the first transcript or you may purchase 3 transcripts for A$15 and a further A$5 for each additional transcript requested per application. Postage within Australia is included in the charge, but for overseas postage add A$2.30. An extra charge will be applied for Express Post mailing if requested - A$5.25 for Australian addresses or A$17.45 for international addresses.
Methods of payment:
- cash or EFTPOS in person to the Cashier on campus
- cheque or money order payable to the University of the Sunshine Coast
- credit card (Visa/Bankcard/Mastercard)
Allow at least two working days, from the time of submission of the application, for the processing of your request. Allow three working days at peak times (eg following release of results).
Your request for an Official Statement of Academic Record will not be processed until payment of the appropriate charge has been made, unless you pay at collection. If you have an outstanding amount owing to the University, your request will not be processed until the balance and the charge for the request has been paid in full.
Collection
You may collect your Official Statement of Academic Record in person, with appropriate photo identification. If you wish to have it collected by another person you must provide them with written authorisation and they will be required to provide appropriate identification at the time of collection. If you have not collected your record within 10 days, unpaid Official Academic Record will be destroyed, and paid Official Academic Record will be filed in student's file.
