2009 Student fees and charges

Notes

  1. The following fees apply to Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, and holders of an Australian permanent visa studying in 2009.
  2. All fees are listed in Australian Dollars (A$).
  3. Fees for international students can be found at USC international fees and costs.

Commonwealth supported places

Commonwealth supported undergraduate and postgraduate students make a student contribution towards the cost of their education. The options available for paying your student contribution will depend on your eligiblity for HECS-HELP.

To calculate the student contribution amount per course multiply the EFTSL ** value of the course by the band amount per EFTSL in the appropriate student classification below. Further information on student classifications is available in frequently asked question (FAQs).

Visiting non-award domestic fees

A visiting student applies directly to the University to study individual course/s (subject/s) for professional or personal development - not a complete undergraduate degree program. Visiting students, classified as non-award students, pay up-front for tuition fees and receive normal instruction, assessment and formal results.

The student contribution band for honours is determined by the area of research undertaken. Refer to Commonwealth supported places or undergraduate domestic fee-paying information.
