Scholarships and bursaries
Financial support in the form of scholarships and bursaries can provide much-needed assistance to these students, and help turn their dreams into reality. Community and government funds help pay tuition fees, purchase textbooks and equipment, pay for accommodation and meet general living expenses. Individual USC faculties also offer support and reward student excellence through prizes and awards.
In 2008, the University of the Sunshine Coast will support approximately 560 undergraduate students with scholarships and bursaries worth more than A$1.62 million.

Prizes
A wide range of prizes are awarded annually to the highest achieving students in particular courses and disciplines.
Overseas Travel Grants
Currently enrolled University of the Sunshine Coast students may be eligible to receive an Overseas Study Grant as part of the GO (Global Opportunities) Program to have an international experience as part of their tertiary education.
