How do I apply?
Your application to study at USC will vary depending on your program, course or student status. For more information, choose the category on the how to apply page that applies to you.
When do I apply?
To commence an undergraduate program in Semester 1, 2009, the on-time due date for QTAC applications is 4.30pm on 30 September 2008. You can still apply for study in Semester 1, 2009 after this date but applications will incur a late fee. Please refer to the QTAC website for further information.
To commence a postgraduate program in Semester 1, 2009, refer to the postgraduate students page for more information.
What are the entry requirements?
You must meet entry requirements to gain entry to a program. Refer to your chosen undergraduate or postgraduate program for more information.
What if I don't meet the entry requirements?
USC has several entry pathways to assist you, including the tertiary preparation pathway (TPP) and alternative entry for non-Year 12 and mature age applicants.
When are offers made?
For undergraduate programs, QTAC will release an early round of offers on 4 December 2008, followed by a main round on 15 January and late round on 5 February. Eligible applicants are notified by QTAC in writing. Details are also available on the QTAC website and offers are published in some Queensland newspapers. USC will send enrolment packages to coincide with these offers. The key dates are available on the QTAC website.
For postgraduate programs, offers are made to you by USC. An enrolment package will also be sent to you.

Three privately-owned, fully-furnished student accommodation complexes are conveniently located an easy three-minute walk to the campus: UniCentral, Varsity Apartments and The Village.
As well, conveniently located off-campus accommodation is easy to find, either through local newspapers and real estate agents or our Accommodation Register.
What support services are available?
The University offers a wide range of support services for your convenience and assistance.
