Undergraduate students
The University of the Sunshine Coast has two intakes each year: the major intake in January/February and a smaller mid-year intake in June/July. Several offer rounds occur within each of these intakes.
Step 1: After an offer round, you can find out if you have received an offer and respond to that offer by using the Current Applicant online service. You will also receive an offer letter from the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) and a separate enrolment package from the University.
Please note: To accept your offer, you must respond to QTAC and to the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Step 2: You must respond to your offer through QTAC by the specified date on the offer letter. If you do not respond to a QTAC offer by the lapse date you may lose your right to that offer. There are a number of QTAC response options available to you including to:
- accept, defer or reject your offer outright and no longer be considered for other preferences
- accept, defer or reject on the condition that you will still be considered for existing higher preferences
- accept, defer or reject on the condition that you will be considered for new higher preferences
You can find more information about these options on the QTAC offer letter or via the QTAC website. Please note that if you conditionally accept an offer and are subsequently offered a higher preference, you forfeit the right to enrol in the preference previously offered.
Step 3: You must also respond to the offer package from the University of the Sunshine Coast. Your University offer package explains how to accept your offer with the University and enrol in classes using SOLAR (the Student Online Access and Registration and enrolment system).
Step 4: Check you have responded to QTAC and to the University of the Sunshine Coast.
