Open Day is your chance to come and discover everything that your university can offer.

Be sure to plan your day to get the most out of your visit—download the Open Day program (PDF359KB).

The University of the Sunshine Coast is a place where you have the best of both worlds—the opportunity to gain an internationally recognised degree that will prepare you for great jobs both at home and abroad, and a lifestyle that only the Sunshine Coast can offer.

Launch your career

At USC, there are more than 100 different programs in:

  • Business and IT
  • Communication and design
  • Education
  • Health
  • Humanities and social sciences
  • Science and engineering

Investigate your options at Open Day and we will help you find the career path that is right for you.

Regional benefits

If you live on the Sunshine Coast or in the surrounding council areas of Gympie, Moreton Bay, Somerset, Fraser Coast and South Burnett, USC is your local university. To look after locals, USC’s Regional Preference Scheme gives your OP a boost of one position for entry to any of USC’s 100 plus associate and undergraduate programs. For example, an OP 6 will be accepted for entry to an OP 5 program. No OP? No worries. Your Rank will be increased by two therefore a Rank of 81 will be treated as an 83.

Realise your ambition

An OP is not the only indicator of your potential. Personal and professional experiences can be used to support your university application. You can also complete USC’s Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP) over one semester which guarantees you entry to most of our degree programs and is free for Commonwealth-supported students. Once enrolled in a degree program, if you still have concerns about adapting to university life, the Tertiary Enabling Program (TEP) allows you to up-skill and refresh your knowledge in a range of key areas, without impacting your overall university grades. This program is also free for Commonwealth-supported students.

Postgraduate study

Finished your degree and want to take your studies further? USC’s expanding range of postgraduate programs provides the opportunity to enhance your promotional opportunities or change career direction. Visit the information displays in Building C where staff can answer your postgraduate enquiries. For postgraduate information sessions refer to the timetable of information sessions.
