To ensure you have both the theory and the practical skills you need, USC designs many of its degree programs with industry, employs industry professionals to teach them, and offers opportunities for field trips and work experience.
This provides you with the opportunity to discover real-world, practical applications of the course material and a real understanding of what your chosen career might be like.
Overseas adventures
If you are trying to choose between travelling the world and university study - at USC, you can do both! The University's GO (Global Opportunities) Program enables you to study overseas as part of your degree. You can choose from a wide range of courses offered by our overseas partner institutions, and receive credit towards your USC degree upon your return.
Entrepreneurial minds
Entrepreneurial skills are becoming increasingly valuable in business to maintain a competitive edge, whether you start a business of your own or launch a corporate career. To equip you with these must-have skills, USC's Innovation Centre has introduced the Enterprise Program. It involves a series of activities including:
- a Student Business Centre,
- a residential program delivered in partnership with the University of Cambridge and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology,
- evening seminars, and
- entrepreneurship courses.
