Explore what USC has to offer you:

Quality of education

Graduates consistently give USC top marks for their educational experience. The 2009 Good Universities Guide * awarded the University five-stars for teaching quality, staff qualifications, graduates' generic skills and graduate satisfaction.

USC students regularly comment on the benefits of smaller class sizes and the approachability of staff. Watch the video on YouTube. Lecturers and tutors are available for personal consultation, creating an interactive, friendly and supportive environment. USC has the highest proportion of academic staff with postgraduate qualifications of any university in Queensland - and the fifth highest in Australia. #

Student support

USC has been recognised at a national level for its student support services. ** A range of support is available to enhance your university experience, from scholarships and financial support, to enabling courses and academic skills workshops. Other student support services also include counselling, career planning, Indigenous services and disability support.

Wide range of degrees and career paths

USC offers more than 100 undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Programs are tailored to industry needs, and lecturers bring their practical industry experience to the classroom to deliver graduates that are job ready.

At USC, you also have the flexibility to tailor your degree to meet your individual needs. Common first-year courses give you a broad knowledge-base, while flexible program structures allow you to specialise and choose courses from across a wide range of disciplines. Opportunities and experiences

The USC experience is not just about lectures, tutorials and textbooks. USC offers opportunities to get the most out of your education by studying overseas with the GO Program, and learning how to start your own business with the Enterprise Program. You can also undertake internships, industry projects or work experience to boost your career confidence.

Campus and facilities

Explore the University's campus by playing the video on USC's YouTube channel or visiting the photo gallery. The campus has won a host of awards for its architecture and is a designated wildlife reserve, home to Eastern Grey kangaroos. Facilities for students include: an athletics track and indoor sports stadium with gym, cafes and eateries, an art gallery and bookshop, access to public transport, 24-hour computer laboratories and an award-winning library. The University also operates a study centre in Noosa and an educational facility on Fraser Island.

Living on the Sunshine Coast

USC is located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, an hour's drive north of Brisbane. The Sunshine Coast encompasses the regions of Noosa, Maroochy and Caloundra, from the beaches to the hinterland. Explore the attractions through the Sunshine Coast photo gallery. Student accommodation is available next to campus, with three private accommodation complexes a short walk away.
