Noosa Centre Orientation Program

Welcome to all Noosa students. We hope that you enjoy your unique experience at the USC Noosa Centre. All services and facilities are available for you during Orientation and throughout your study at USC.

Semester 1 Orientation week is held from 15–19 February 2010.

Your Orientation activity checklist

  • Attend the Official Welcome and Orientation session at Noosa Centre
  • Attend your “StartSmart” / TPP Information session
  • Complete your course enrolment and tutorial registration via USCCentral online: at home / at Noosa Centre / at USC Campus
  • Attend an Introduction to the Library session
  • Attend an IT essentials session 
  • Get your photograph taken for your student ID card at the Sippy Downs campus

Noosa Official Welcome 10am Orientation day for students studying at the Noosa Centre. We invite all first-year Noosa students to attend the Official Welcome by the Vice-Chancellor and President and be informed about the support services and staff available to assist you throughout your studies. Centre Tour
10.45am Following the Official Welcome students are invited to enjoy some light refreshments, followed by a tour of rooms and facilities. USC Noosa Centre

These sessions provide program-specific information on how to structure your program, select your courses and access online information, as well as general program information and “house-keeping”.

This short presentation covers all areas of the USC network, as detailed in the Undergrad IT Essentials Guide. Students will be given an overview of the University IT systems and understanding of the services available and policies that relate to use of the IT network. USC Noosa Centre

Orientation–all students

All students are invited to attend the orientation activities at USC's Sippy Downs campus, including Photo ID Sessions, academic skills sessions, social and sporting activities. Use the all student orientation timetable to plan the rest of your Orientation week.

Co-op bookshop

The Co-op Bookshop has a wide range of textbooks available to support your studies. Cash and credit cards are accepted and orders can be made by phone. Contact the Co-op Bookshop or visit the Co-op Bookshop website for more information.
