This is a hands-on, interactive 2-hour session specifically designed for students who may have limited IT experience. Topics cover all aspects of the USC network and students will gain valuable knowledge in the use of the University IT system. Students will develop an understanding and increased confidence in the use of IT services.

IT Essentials Presentation

This short presentation covers all areas of the USC network, as detailed in the Undergraduate IT Essentials Guide. Students will be given an overview of the University IT systems and understanding of the services available and policies that relate to use of the IT network.
The Wireless IT Workshop follows on from the IT Essentials presentation and is designed to assist students connecting their personal laptops to the USC wireless network. IT staff will be available to help students with configuration issues and explain the wireless services available at USC.
