Mulitcultural Affairs Tutorial Assistance Program
The Australian South Sea Islander program is funded by the Commonwealth Government through Multicultural Affairs Queensland. The program provides additional tuition, including individual one-to-one contact or group sessions, for Australian South Sea Islander students undertaking tertiary study.
The University of the Sunshine Coast tutors are sensitive to, and able to relate to, the educational needs of Australian South Sea Islander students. Indigenous Services presents cultural awareness one-day workshops to give an insight to tutors on the history and culture of Indigenous students, including the Australian South Sea Islander students. The workshops will be held at the start of each year.

- Your contract will cease if you are absent from arranged tutorial sessions on two consecutive occasions.
- You are obliged to respectfully contact your tutor and reschedule your tutorial session if you know you are unable to attend your tutorial.
