USC Student Guild
The USC Student Guild is an independent body that represents the interests of USC students. Run by students, the Guild's main goal is to help make your time at USC more enjoyable, by providing essential non-academic services such as advocacy, as well as sporting, cultural and social activities.
Services
The USC Student Guild offers the following services to all students:
- cable TV
- fridge and microwave
- advocacy and representation
- health referrals
- referrals to solicitors for free legal advice
- magazines, newsletters and email bulletin
- second-hand textbook listings
- provision of general information for students
- DVD and book exchange
- locker hire
- sports equipment hire
and these services to its members:
- student starter pack
- cheap vending machines
- discounts, promotions, competitions and complimentary tickets
- on campus BBQ's
- FREE entry to Uni parties
- FREE netcard
- discounted photocopying, scanning, printing, fax and telephone services
- FREE tea and coffee
- FREE entry to membership draws
- FREE locker
- FREE use of Guild sports equipment
- full voting rights at the AGM and Special General and Constitutional Meetings
Membership is only A$25 per semester
