Wellbeing and health
The Student Wellbeing and Health Officer is available for financial advice, financial assistance, tenancy support, health information and referrals. Throughout the year this service will provide range of programs to promote the health and wellbeing of students.
Services include:
- wellbeing promotion programs.
- information about healthy activities available to students.
- emergency loans and student loans.
- health advice and links to local medical services.
- supporting the health and well-being needs of the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender and intersex community.
- financial advice and support .
- links with the Residential Tenancies Authority, the Department of Housing and the Tenant Advice and Advocacy Service.
- nutrition and fitness information.
- grievance and dispute mediation as well as information about student rights and responsibilities.
- current information about accommodation.
