ENS371 Aquaculture
Aquaculture is a global and rapidly expanding industry, requiring a
range of scientific and practical knowledge. To reflect this broad
skills base, the course covers the principal biological,
physico-chemical, biotechnology, policy/planning and environmental
aspects of aquatic farming. Recognising the benefits of
collaborative teaching, this course has received input from other
USC teachers, the Bribie Island Aquaculture Research Centre and the
Nambour TAFE college. These linkages promote opportunities to
develop research and industry skills.
