General English

General English is offered at a level to suit you - from elementary to advanced and is a good starting point for your language studies.

The General English program includes:

  • 1 to 50 weeks of study
  • English language skills for everyday situations
  • speaking and listening to improve English conversation skills
  • reading, writing and grammar
  • 5 weekly tests of the 4 macro skills, vocabulary and grammar.

You can study General English full-time for 25 hours per week, or if you hold a Tourist or Working Holiday Visa you may also choose to study part-time for 15 hours per week.

Sample timetable - General English (Pre-Intermediate) 

Full-time:  8.40am - 3pm, Monday to Friday
Part-time:  8.40am - 12noon, Monday to Friday
