Program overview

The Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP) is a foundation pathway for students who do not meet USC’s academic admission requirements. Successful completion of TPP101 Academic Skills for Success and three foundation-level courses (or subjects) over one full-time semester, enables TPP students direct entry into most USC undergraduate programs.

1 required course:
TPP101 Academic Skills for Success

Plus select 3 courses from:
TPP102 Computer Literacy
TPP103 Bioscience
TPP104 Mathematics
TPP105 Statistics
TPP106 Introduction to Aboriginal Societies
TPP107 Contemporary Australia
TPP108 An Introduction to Working within the Community

Please note that there is no advanced standing towards a University award program on the basis of completed Tertiary Preparation Pathway studies.

Program entry requirements

To gain entry to the TPP, students must satisfy the University’s English language requirements. If you do not meet these requirements, you might like to enrol in USC’s International Foundation Pathway, which incorporates both University and English languages courses.
