(CRICOS Course Code: 058561K)

The Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP) is a foundation pathway for students who do not meet USC’s academic admission requirements.

Successful completion of four foundation-level courses (or subjects) over one full-time semester, enables TPP students direct entry into most USC award programs.

The TPP program structure includes two required courses in academic skills and computer literacy, and two courses from a choice of Bioscience, Mathematics, Statistics, Introduction to Aboriginal Studies, or Contemporary Australia.

2 required courses:
TPP101 Academic Skills for Success
TPP102 Computer Literacy

Plus select 2 courses from:
TPP103 Bioscience
TPP104 Mathematics
TPP105 Statistics
TPP106 Introduction to Aboriginal Societies
TPP107 Contemporary Australia

Please note that there is no advanced standing towards a University award program on the basis of completed Tertiary Preparation Pathway studies.

Entry requirements

To gain entry to the TPP, students must satisfy the University’s English language requirements. If you do not meet these requirements, you might like to enrol in USC’s International Foundation Pathway, which incorporates both University and English languages courses.

Tuition fee

The tuition fee for the one-semester TPP program is A$6,000.*
