Study Abroad at the University of the Sunshine Coast offers you the opportunity to enjoy an exceptional international and intercultural experience. Immerse yourself in the Australian lifestyle and culture while you earn full credit towards your home degree.
You can join the Study Abroad program for one or two semesters and at the same time experience a different culture and make long-lasting Australian friendships.
Study Abroad is available to secondary school graduates prior to entering university in their home country, and to university graduates who wish to enrich their academic and personal experiences.

Pre-register your courses online
You can pre-register your course choices so you know what you will be studying before you arrive. Registration is offered online via USCCentral.
Academic courses
You can choose from a wide range of courses in our three faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, Business, and Science, Health and Education.
Many courses offer insights into Australian society from historical, political, environmental, geographical, business, scientific, social and literary perspectives. There is also a wide range of courses with a more global perspective.
Study Abroad course lists
Course lists and descriptions for Semester 1, 2009 (February-June) and Semester 2, 2009 (July -November) are available to assist you in making selections and seeking credit approval from your home institution.
Internships
The international internship program offers Study Abroad students high quality, individually designed work placements in an extensive range of professions. An internship is the equivalent of one course. Students who wish to pursue internships need to make arrangements well in advance.
Support, services and facilities
USC Student Services offer a range of support to all USC students, including international students. Visit Student Services for assistance with:
- Counselling (personal and academic) - professional counsellors can assist you with adjusting to university life, relationship and emotional issues, a different culture and managing your workload.
- Academic Skills Services - workshops, individual consultations and a Student Access Officer.
- Disability Services.
- Sport and Activities Coordinator.
These are free and confidential services.
Modern facilities and learning resources including our well-equipped library, art gallery, bookshop, sporting facilities, eateries and 24-hour computer laboratories, provide students with a quality learning experience in an attractive and supportive environment.
USC International staff will assist you with the application process, airport transfers and accommodation, and support you throughout the duration of your study.
