USC International Student Services

USC International staff assist you with any enquiries you may have including:

  • advice on further study, including our Direct Entry English Pathway
  • visas - including permission to work, applying for a visa and visa conditions
  • OSHC (Overseas Student Health Cover). An OSHC Worldcare representative is available on campus, Level 1 ICT Centre J, to assist with enquiries and claims on Tuesdays from 11am – 2pm and Wednesdays 12noon – 3pm
  • medical information
  • program and course information (including changes to your program)
  • accommodation
  • activities and local attractions
  • transport

Student Services

USC Student Services offer a range of support to all USC students, including international students. Visit Student Services for assistance with:

  • Counselling (personal and academic). Professional counsellors can assist you with adjusting to university life, a different culture, relationship and emotional issues and managing your workload. This is a free, confidential service.
  • Academic Skills Services. Workshops, individual consultations and a Student Access Officer are available.
  • Disability Services. Support is available for students with disabilities or health issues.
  • Sport and Activities Coordinator.
  • Career Connection. Students have access to career guidance, workshops and job search information.

Campus facilities and resources

The University of the Sunshine Coast campus facilities and resources, provide students with a quality learning experience in an attractive and supportive environment. USC's distinctive and environmentally friendly architecture has received national awards.

The USC campus offers modern facilities and learning resources including our well-equipped library, art gallery, bookshop, sporting facilities and eateries. 

Security patrol the campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are available to provide assistance at any time ensuring a safe learning environment.
