AusAID scholarships at USC
The University of the Sunshine Coast is an official destination for the Australian Government’s Australian Development Scholarship (ADS) and Australia Leadership Awards (ALA).
Scholarships managed by AusAID are awarded for programs that benefit the development of an applicant’s country in areas such as education, science, health, public sector management and economic governance.
Visit Australian Development Scholarships (ADS) or Australian Leadership Award (ALA) to find out if you are eligible.
Applicants can select from USC degree programs in the faculties of Arts and Social Sciences; Business; and Science, Health and Education, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Australian Development Scholarship (ADS)
Australian Development Scholarships allow people from developing countries to study at an Australian university, such as USC. Through ADS, students gain knowledge and skills that enable them to contribute to the development of their home country.
Australian Leadership Award (ALA)
Australian Leadership Awards (ALA) are scholarships and fellowships developed for present and future leaders and key personnel in corporate, academic, non-governmental and governmental services.
The scholarships are directed at individuals who have the potential to assume leadership roles in areas such as economic management, trade policy and reform and regional integration.
Individuals with the capabilities to manage cross-boundary challenges such as pandemics, security and clean energy are also encouraged to apply.
