Public transport

Bus

Sunbus runs a regular bus service between a number of Sunshine Coast locations and the University campus. Information on Sunbus routes and timetables can be found on the Translink website: www.translink.com.au.

Train

Rail-Bus services connect the Queensland Rail CityTrain with the University via Landsborough station. Check the Translink timetable for routes, times and fares. On the Translink website, use ‘Sunshine Coast University’ as the destination.

The AirTrain (www.airtrain.com.au) service links passengers from Brisbane’s Domestic and International Airports to Queensland Rail services.

Taxi

The Sunshine Coast is serviced by several taxi operators. Contact them directly to arrange transport to or from the campus. The taxi pick-up/drop-off point at the University is marked on the campus map.

Timetables

For public transport timetables visit the Translink website: www.translink.com.au.

Pedestrian and cycle access

The University encourages cycle and pedestrian access to the campus. Cycle facilities are located at the University: bicycle racks are marked on the campus map, and showers and toilets are located in several buildings. The University Club also has a shower and toilet facility.

A network of paths connects the University to Sippy Downs, Buderim and Mooloolaba. This network will be further enhanced with the completion of the Sunshine Motorway interchange to Dixon Road, the upgrade of Sippy Downs Drive and the construction of the Greenlink in 2008. Refer to the road map of Sippy Downs for details on the pathway network into campus.
