Mail and Print Services

Mail and Print Services provides the following services to the University:

  • internal and external mail services and couriers
  • maintaining the University's switchboard
  • providing directional support for general enquiries
  • providing lost and found services
  • student copying and printing services
  • print production of University publications including annual reports, handbooks, course brochures and prospectuses
  • printing of general stationery items such as University letterheads, business cards and envelopes
  • management and maintenance of all University photocopiers
  • in-house black and white and colour photocopying and printing services for materials required by University cost centres
  • in-house publication services including desktop publishing, book binding, and typesetting
  • commercial printing services to external clients
Student copying and printing

Student copying and printing services provide a self serve copying, printing and binding service to USC students. Copying and printing equipment is located in the Library and throughout the University's computer labs.

Mail services

The Mail and Print Services office is the central point for the receipt and dispatch of all University mail by Australia Post and courier service providers. Mail items need to be received at Mail Office by 3.30pm.

Couriers

This service is available from Monday to Friday. Please contact the Mail and Print Services Office to discuss your courier requirements.

Switchboard

The switchboard, located in the Mail and Print Services Office, is staffed during business hours (8.30am to 5pm). Faxes sent to the University's central number are distributed to the nominated receiver as instructed.

General enquiries

The general enquiries counter located at the Mail and Print Services Office provides a central point for staff, students and the public to enquire about general University matters and to seek directions to other parts of the campus.

Lost and found

The Mail and Print Services Office provides a lost and found service to staff and students. Items found on campus should be forwarded to the Mail and Print Services Office. If the owner of the items can be identified they will be contacted, where possible. Lost items may be claimed during office hours and suitable identification may be required.

Unclaimed Items

Unclaimed items are held for up to three months and then disposed of in accordance with University of the Sunshine Coast's Lost Property Procedure.
