Mission
To promote and support advancement of USC's teaching and research profile, performance and culture.
Goals
- To provide advice and support to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for the development of teaching and research
- To provide advice and support to faculties, schools and cost centres, through the academic committees, for academic development and institutional capacity building
- To provide effective and efficient academic administration for teaching and research
Position in organisational structure
TARS is part of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor’s portfolio supports the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and academic committees in the development of teaching and research across the University.
Functions and services
TARS has a wide range of functions and services that support both learning and teaching, and research and research training, across the University.
