School of Social Sciences
Welcome to the School of Social Sciences in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
The School includes a wide range of academic disciplines and degrees: Australian studies, community work, counselling, history, human services, Indigenous studies, regional and urban planning, psychology, politics, social work and sociology at undergraduate and postgraduate entry level. Our programs include opportunities to undertake work placements, independent research projects and overseas study. We also offer Honours and postgraduate research degrees.
Our highly-qualified
academic staff pursue wide-ranging research interests. Current projects being undertaken by staff within the School include Indigenous engagement in natural resource management, changes in contemporary workplaces, and a history of the Brisbane Exhibition.
