Anna worked in many areas within the AGS on Commonwealth Law specialising in complex taxation law matters and administrative law. One of Anna’s career highlights was being Solicitor for the Commonwealth travelling to Murray Island to take evidence from locals in the case of Eddie Mabo versus The Commonwealth ie Mabo’s case.

Anna was also recognised as an expert in insolvency law heading up the national centre of excellence in insolvency. More recently she was appointed National Client Service Manager for the Tax Agents’ Boards of Australia in recognition of her extensive work with the Boards.

Since starting at USC in 2007, Anna has evidenced her varied and extensive legal background coordinating and teaching many subjects. Her many years of working with the Commonwealth have also been recognised by her recent appointment as a Conference Registrar of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, a role she will continue and which will keep her professionally qualified as well as up to date with recent court matters.

Anna moved to the Sunshine Coast with her family in 2004. In addition to her work and academic interests, she is actively involved in Sunshine Coast community life. She is especially involved in her childrens’ schools and has acted in a voluntary role with Women’s Legal Groups and legal services.
