Profile

Dr Christopher McConville currently lectures in Australian Studies at University of the Sunshine Coast. Previously he has taught in a number of universities including University of Melbourne, Victoria University of Technology, and Monash University.

Chris has worked widely in the media especially in radio, in commercial, public and community sectors, and has had substantial engagement in local cultural and environmental groups and in the museum sector. He also ran a successful consultancy practice in heritage planning and history writing.
