Faculty research

The Faculty of Business has an active research culture as demonstrated by the supervision and completions of research higher degree students, involvement in a range of research projects and healthy publication rate. Emerging and experienced researchers are strongly supported by the Faculty.

Supervision is available to research higher degree students in each of the Faculty's discipline areas: accounting, finance, information systems, marketing, international business, marketing, management and tourism. Interested candidates should review the academic staff profiles to examine the specific research interests of staff.

The Faculty has four higher degrees by research:

Staff within the Faculty are amongst the most highly qualified of any business school in Australia. In keeping with this, a high priority is placed on staff research support and development and publications from the Faculty make a significant contribution to the University's research quantum. An active research seminar series is conducted in each of the two primary teaching semesters drawing on a range of national and international presenters. In addition, the Faculty conducts research colloquia for staff to present their own work.
