Profile
Dr Jill Dunn has extensive experience in the tourism industry which has proved invaluable in the new tourism courses she has established at the University of Canberra, Ballarat and the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Jill's long standing commitment to the tourism industry began when she completed one of Australia's first Honours theses in tourism, before beginning her doctorate in the Tourism and Recreating Research Unit at Edinburgh University.
She then widened her tourism background following appointments in various government tourism departments and as Tourism Planner for the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority.
Her research focus is in sustainable tourism and ecotourism management.
