Profile
Professor David Gadenne has had extensive academic and industry experience. Prior to his appointment as Associate Dean, Faculty of Business in 2008, David was Head of School of Commerce in the Faculty, and prior to that was Professor of Accounting and Finance at Central Queensland University. He has taught across a wide range of areas including research methods, advanced statistics, company accounting and management accounting.
He has undertaken research in financial distress prediction, small business and behavioural accounting, and has received two ANBAR international citations of excellence awards for Highest Quality Rating for international recognition of an outstanding contribution to the literature and body of knowledge, as well as an award for best academic research paper at a national conference. His current research is in the areas of social and environmental accounting and voluntary administration.
