Profile
Jeanette Van Akkeren is currently undertaking her PhD.
Jeanette's main research interests include social informatics and ICT assimilation. In addition, research has been undertaken in the areas of adoption and diffusion of e-commerce technologies, and strategies for business use of mobile data technologies. The focus of Jeanette's research is in health, and ICT assimilation in radiology in particular.
Jeanette has published extensively in the area of social informatics, and ICT adoption and diffusion, both nationally and internationally. In addition, she has worked as a consultant to small and medium sized firms in Queensland, Victoria and NSW in the areas of end-user training and e-commerce strategy development.
