Faculty of Science, Health and Education Building

The Faculty of Science, Health and Education has over 2000 students enrolled across two Schools in undergraduate and postgraduate programs:

Within these Schools the Faculty offers programs in science, education, health, sport, nursing and joint programs with other faculties.

There are also a range of articulation programs with Sunshine Coast TAFE and South Bank Institute of TAFE where students obtain credit from TAFE diploma courses for Bachelor of Science programs, for example the dual exercise therapy program. More information on articulation arrangements

Students are encouraged to undertake more than one science major and to study courses from other faculties. The emphasis is on producing graduates with greater career options than just traditional laboratory roles.

Faculty research offers students a wide range of available projects and research areas that can be undertaken by internal and external students at honours, masters and doctorate levels. This includes the Faculty's Centre for Healthy Activities, Sport and Exercise (CHASE) research centre.

Academic staff are highly qualified and experienced at supervising postgraduate research students. Many are involved in collaborative research projects in the community.
