Profile
Ms Smith began a career in tertiary lecturing after working as a secondary teacher in Queensland schools for twelve years and primary school literacy consultant for eight years. For six years Ms Smith worked as Assistant Chief Examiner for Senior English where she extended her work in staff development.
Ms Smith is currently involved in Doctoral studies which encompass pre-service teacher training in language and literacy.
