Profile
Kylie Readman currently lectures in middle phase pedagogies and assessment in education programs at the University of the Sunshine Coast, where she also manages the graduate diploma programs. She is an experienced educator at primary, secondary and tertiary levels and she is committed to development of innovative learning and teaching practices.
Ms Readman has managed a number of education and cross-faculty teaching and learning grants that have focused on using an outcomes-based framework to shape student learning experiences and innovative approaches to content, pedagogy and assessment in the context of internationalising the curriculum. She has also worked in Youth Performance as a teacher-artist, producer and researcher, most recently on XL-D for Drama Queensland and Watermark for the Riverfestival. Her current research interests include assessment in schools and higher education settings, the application of technologies in a range of educational settings and curriculum design for collaborative learning.
