Role
The Clinical Experience Coordinator coordinates clinical placements for students in nursing and midwifery programs in the School of Health and Sport Sciences.
The role involves identifying and developing appropriate placements based on academic program requirements, supporting clinical facilitators and preceptors, briefing students, undertaking liaison visits while students are on placement, gaining and maintaining support from clinical learning environments and coordinating the recruitment and support of clinical facilitators and preceptors.
The Clinical Experience Coordinator works with the nursing academic team to further develop strong relationships with regional health services.
