Profile

Dr Anne Neller has an extensive and varied background in environmental and public health. Before joining the Faculty of Science, Health and Education at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Dr Neller held teaching and research positions at Griffith University and the University of New England in Australia, Tampere University and the National Public Health Institute in Finland, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Outside of academia, Dr Neller also spent three years working for the Hong Kong Government within the Environmental Protection Department. In addition to her current position as Senior Lecturer in Health and the Environment, Dr Neller is a member of the executive of the Environmental Health Special Interest Group of the Public Health Association of Australia, and is actively involved as a member of several advisory groups on environmental health matters. Her current research areas include environmental epidemiology, evaluation of ecosystem health, health and environment data linkage and indicator development.
