Profile

Ms Lily O'Hara has a vision of a time or place where public health is valued as a global common, where social and environmental capital are valued as highly as economic capital, and where society's capacity to help keep the population well is valued as highly as its capacity to treat illness or injury. She is passionately committed to making the world a healthier, more equitable and sustainable place for the current population and generations to come.

Ms O'Hara's goal is to utilise the resources within her influence to contribute to the realisation of her vision. To maximise that influence, she has developed a strong personal and professional reputation as a passionate, sensitive, knowledgeable, thoughtful, innovative, credible, respectful, vibrant and skilled worker in the field of public health - a worker who is at once a practitioner, applied researcher, educator, trainer, manager and leader.
