Vice-Chancellor's Learning and Teaching Colloquium

At USC, good teaching and engaged student learning are core business. Learning and teaching builds human capital, allows students to access up-to-date research findings and prepares the next generation of workers, leaders and scholars.The business of this University contributes directly to society, both on the Coast and beyond it.

The Vice-Chancellor's Learning and Teaching Colloquium celebrates and explores good practice in learning and teaching at USC.

Theme: Enhancing Transition and the First Year Experience
Program: Seventy participants enjoyed a rich program, including a:

  • student panel discussion
  • keynote address from Professor Kerri-Lee Krause on ‘Transition to and through the first year: Strategies to enhance the student experience’
  • presentation by Dr Maria Raciti, the 2006 recipient of the Vice-Chancellor’s Medal for Outstanding University Teacher
