Student Feedback on Courses
Student Feedback on Courses (SFC) is the University's evaluation system designed to assist staff and the University in evaluating courses.
The purpose of SFC is to:
- support course coordinators, faculties and the University in collecting and responding to student feedback on courses
- provide student feedback on key aspects of course design and delivery, and
- gather evidence to demonstrate the quality of the University's course provision
When is Student Feedback on Courses conducted?
All course coordinators are required to ensure that SFC is collected at least once each year the course is conducted. Course coordinators are responsible for initiating SFC, but Deans, Heads of School and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor may initiate SFC. SFC can be conducted at anytime throughout the teaching period, although most feedback is sought in the final weeks of the relevant teaching period.
