Floor plans
The Library building consists of three floors:
Ground floor
The ground floor (PDF 118KB) hosts the Library Administration Office, the Seminar Room, the Learning Connections Room, a group study room with a televideo machine, toilets and several study desks and carrels as well as a TV and lounge area.
First floor
The first floor (PDF 348KB) is the entry and exit of the Library and includes the Information Desk, IT Services Desk, Loans Desk and Printing and Copying Services. Also on the first floor is the Reserve Collection, computers, photocopiers, printers, toilets and the Information Commons.
Second floor
The second floor (PDF 197KB) holds the majority of the library's collection. There are five group study rooms, a colour printer/scanner, several OPAC machines, study desks and carrels, and a lounge area.
The second floor of the Library building links to the ICT Centre, providing additional collection and reader spaces. The Library space on Level 2 of the ICT (PDF 100KB) has two group study rooms, a photocopier, an OPAC machine, toilets, study carrels and a silent study area with 7 PCs. Access to Level 2 of the ICT Centre is via the walkway link from level 2 of the Library building.
