BIODIDAC
BIODIDAC is a database of over 5,500 digital images, video, and animations that can be used and adapted for teaching and learning about Biology. Copying and downloading the material is allowed, on the condition that this is non-commercial, that the supplier (BIODIDAC) of the material is acknowledged, and that its use is registered.
Brisbane Images
Brisbane Images is a user-friendly database containing more than 5,000 images of the Brisbane area. From the Brisbane City Council Library Catalogue, click on the Brisbane Images button on the top navigation bar to browse the database, or select Image Search from the library catalogue. Subjects include built environment, environmental features, transport and cultural images.
PictureAustralia
PictureAustralia allows you to search and access the image collections of many significant cultural institutions. All forms of Australiana are included in the service. Contributors include the National Library of Australia, Australian Heritage Commission and the University of Queensland Library.
Public Health Image Library
PHILTM is an extensive collection of still images, image sets, and multimedia files related to public health. Created by a Working Group at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), PHILTM offers an organised, universal electronic gateway to CDC's pictures. The content is organised into hierarchical categories of people, places, and science, and is presented as single images, image sets, and multimedia files.
