University
of the Sunshine Coast lecturers can arrange to record their lectures and have these recordings made available to students in the
Reserve Collection of the Library. Lecturers are provided with video tapes to to record their lecture, which are then submitted
to the Library for processing.
This service is not available to students. Students should contact their lecturer, in the first instance, to initiate
the process if necessary.
The facility to tape lectures is only available as a standard in Lecture Theatres 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7

In response to your request, the Library will prepare blank, fully labelled tapes with the appropriate course code and copyright statement. An email will be sent to you advising when they will be available to pick up from the Library Loans Desk. |
It is the responsibility of the lecturer to do the actual recording and to return the tapes to the Library Loans Desk within 24 hours of the lecture. The tapes will be available from the Reserve Collection for the current semester through to the end of the exam period. |
If you have requested training in the use of the lecture theatre equipment for recording your lecture, the ITS Service Desk will contact you to arrange an appropriate time. |
