FESTURI - a multicultural celebration 2005

Celebrate FESTURI at the University this Sunday 28 August with a
fantastic day of colour, dance, music and great food.
The four-day FESTURI celebration culminates at the University on
Sunday with a family fun day of activities.
Between 11am and 6pm enjoy cultural displays, crafts, workshops,
singers and entertainment on campus.
The Multicultural Speakers' Forum will explore important
multicultural issues in a safe and open environment and the
Storytelling Tent promises traditional ethnic folktales, modern
stories and captivate the audience with people's personal accounts
of their experiences in various countries.
Live vocal and musical performances will keep crowds entertained
until the sun goes down.
For the first time, FESTURI will offer an exciting range of free
workshops appealing to the whole family.
Come and play games from around the world and take part in arts,
crafts, music, dance and language activities to learn new skills
and have fun!
