Free community session - June 1 at 6.30pm

The University of the Sunshine Coast is holding a free public information session for people interested in learning how to find their way through the maze of information available online.

Held in the USC Library, the session will explain how to find good quality information online and how to save time surfing the net.

University staff will offer tips on where and how to search effectively through a range of online sources such as the Internet, online journals and newspapers.

The session will be held in the computer area of the Library, providing plenty of opportunities for hands-on experience.

'Finding information online' is part of the University's Keep Pace program offering free information sessions and workshops for students, parents and the community.

The session will be held on the evening of Wednesday June 1 at USC, on the corner of Sippy Downs Drive and Stringybark Road, Sippy Downs.

Bookings are essential. Email kpage@usc.edu.au or call 5459 4558 to secure your place.
