Graduating Art and Design students from the University of the Sunshine Coast present Toast!, 10 to 19 November at the University Gallery.

Toast! showcases creative designs from 28 graduating students in celebration of their transition to industry professionals.

Incorporating digital prints, graphic design, websites and interactive CD-ROMS, this exhibition showcases the work of advanced level Art and Design students at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

An art form that only began in the late 1950's, new interactive and multimedia technology is allowing artists to go in amazing directions and the students' work is at the forefront of Australian design.

The exhibition presents a range of works by design and marketing students from different fields of design who have backgrounds in marketing, advertising, multimedia and communications.

"This is sure to be a great opportunity for everyone to be inspired by the original, fresh and exciting ideas of this talented group of individuals," Dr Ian White, senior lecturer Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, said.

"Student's work will be showcased and Toast! also provides an opportunity for industry professionals to meet the future leaders of design," he said.

Toast! runs until Saturday 19 November.

The University of the Sunshine Coast Gallery is open from 10am to 4pm weekdays and 1 to 4pm on Saturdays.

Admission to the exhibition is free and the public is welcome.

The 2005 USC Gallery Exhibition Program is proudly supported by Coastline BMW.
