Overseas study opportunities on display at annual fair
Prospective and current University of the Sunshine Coast students who would love to experience studying in Paris, Vienna or Munich have plenty to gain by attending USC’s Exchange Fair on Monday 14 April.
The annual fair from 10am to 2pm at the University’s Chancellery (Building C) will highlight USC’s Global Opportunities (GO) program, the University’s student exchange program.
GO gives students the opportunity to spend a semester in one of USC’s many partner universities around the world, with the overseas study counting towards their degrees.
The University has various scholarships and grants to help support GO participants, including $2,000 travel grants to assist in paying for airfares.
The Exchange Fair will be attended by representatives from some partner universities from Austria, France and Germany who will outline their institutions and study programs.
Information also will be available for many of USC’s 70 partner universities from across Asia, Europe and Central and North America.
International students will promote their home schools and countries, while USC students who have participated in the GO program will share their experiences. Guest presentations also will be held in Lecture Theatre 6 (Building K) from 1-2pm.
USC’s careerconnection and the Student Guild will have booths promoting their services.
