Career planning workshop open to the public
The University of the Sunshine Coast will hold a public interactive workshop on career planning at 6.30pm on Wednesday 2 April.
USC External Relations Coordinator Kylie Russell said the event would benefit high school students – particularly in selecting subjects at school – and adults who are looking for a career change.
“Choosing a career path can often be daunting, but with the right tools and some guidance along the way, it will make your decision a lot easier,” she said.
“This interactive workshop will help people find out what careers interest them and how they can explore their options.”
Ms Russell said participants also would learn about the resources available to help make career decisions, the latest career trends, and the careers available through studying at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
The workshop will be led by USC’s Careers and Graduate Employment Officer Clive May.
Bookings for the workshop at USC’s Lecture Theatre 2 are essential. Contact <schools@usc.edu.au> or Kylie Russell on 5430 1117.
